Present Moment: How to Live and Get Over Easy

Are you suffering from what you can’t change? Do you want to get over something that is out of your control? In this content, I will cite some tips how you can live in the present and forget about the rest that are out of your control.

I have a simple exercise that I’ve been following from to after time. It has been helping me to get through a lot of tough times in my life.

A simple one but definitely effective if you just follow along without a doubt and execute what is told in this content.

Check out my blog post about Making It Happen.

If ever you get stuck in the process, don’t hesitate to call for help. Just get in touch with me through this blog.

Fake It Until You Make It

First thing’s first. You must decide to end it internally or you can initially at least do such as believing that you do want it for yourself.

That’s what they call – fake it until you make it.

I recommend checking out a great video content about this topic with John Sonmez of Simple Programmer.

John Sonmez is a life coach to Software Developers or Programmers. The video is related to a career advice but of course, you can figure out to relate it to anything in general.

Check out John’s best-selling (help-self books) for programmers:

  1. The Complete Software Developer’s Career Guide
  2. Soft Skills: The Software Developer’s Life Manual

Read also about becoming a Self-Taught Programmer here for better resources to get started with.

Anyway, moreover, I’ve been a victim of this experience early on. But probably, I guess we all have. And fortunately, overcoming that situation is one of the most rewarding experiences that I have in my life. It’s a big part of who I am today, which draws the ultimate character that benefits myself apparently.

So, if writing about this topic would be for anyone’s help then I thought it would be cool to share it with some readers.

Focus On The Present Moment

To make the best out of this quick exercise from this content, I need you, to be honest with yourself and act what is told because it is necessary for you to do. And I promise, when you absorb this concept the right way, you will succeed.

Check out this video from John Sonmez of Bulldog Mindset on YouTube.

A related book about this idea is Stop Lying Start Moving: How to stop lying to yourself and start fulfilling your dreams by Vijayraj Kamat.

These resources allow you to understand more about lying to yourself so you can identify further what you can focus on to improve.

Primarily, for instance, if you are struggling with heartache or frustration, even the fear and worrying for an event of the future, become aware that there is nothing more for you out there.

This means – to make every anxiety, frustrations, and worries you have today to disappear, you have to leave those thoughts as is behind and think that it is not the responsibility of who you are today. It is the responsibility of yourself in the past, or of the future.

So, it does not necessarily need to be addressed about of who you are today because you know, you can’t probably do anything about it.

Your responsibility is where you are today which is in the present. Where you have control over with.

A good start to read for guidance about this practice is the book – The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle.

The book will help you to get started as organized as possible on whatever you’re planning to pursue the next bit of your life. To live in the present and separating yourself from negative thoughts.

Follow What Is Convenient For You

As much as possible, become bias to yourself. Do, or deal with anything in a way that is most convenient for you and that you know you can succeed.

If you really want to achieve the best out of life, make things easy for you. That’s what life is all about. Making the complex easy.

To do that, when you’re suffering from things that you know you cannot change, most particularly in the past or future, then forget about it.

Stop fighting or challenging yourself to win that battle because you can’t. Instead, focus on what you can win today. One at a time.

I know it may sound a little bit tricky and impractical but just try to analyze the thought through in the best possible way.

Live In The Present And Nothing Else

Living in the present and not thinking about anything else about whatever is wrong in your life doesn’t always mean that you’re a coward and running from the reality. Most probably, yes, but I think it’s just simply “honesty.”

It just means you’re honest and smart enough to face the truth and give yourself a little favor to just let go and be happy again.

Think about it as if you’re separating your thoughts about what you cannot change which is for the best – because if you don’t, it wouldn’t be fair to judge everything based on what it is not may be true in reality in the present moment.

Take your focus, not in the past or the future. Focusing on what it is about today to be gain or achieve or even to be dealt with.

You’ll be surprised what is it for you by the end result.
